Welcome Charles Darwin University, Australia To STARS Water Center

On July 18, 2026, the STARS Water Center – Tra Vinh University was honored to welcome a delegation from Charles Darwin University (Australia) for a visit to explore the Center's research activities, innovation initiatives, and sustainable development models.

During the visit, the delegation toured the Center's water treatment and water reuse systems and learned about several flagship projects being implemented in the fields of water resources, environmental management, and community development.

The visit not only strengthened the relationship between the two institutions but also opened up promising opportunities for collaboration in research, education, and academic exchange, contributing to innovative solutions for water-related challenges and sustainable development in the region.

On September 7, 2026, as part of its working visit to South Korea, the STARS Water Center of Tra Vinh University held a meeting and working session with Yeungnam University to discuss potential directions for collaboration in research, training, and the development of science and technology solutions in the fields of water, energy, environment, and agriculture, with the aim of establishing long-term collaborative programs between the two institutions.

From September 4 to 7, 2026, the Vietnam–Korea Knowledge Connectivity Forum (VKConnect Daegu 2026) was held in Daegu, South Korea, under the theme “Innovation in the Digital Era.” The Forum was initiated by the Consulate General of Vietnam in Busan and co-organized with Yeungnam University, aiming to strengthen connections between Vietnamese intellectuals and universities, businesses, and organizations in South Korea.

On August 11, 2026, STARS Water Center – Tra Vinh University and HEINEKEN Vietnam held a strategic working session, marking an important transition from the completion of the practical clean water project in Quới Thiện Island Commune toward a broader vision of building a sustainable clean water ecosystem for island communities, remote and underserved areas across Vietnam during the 2027–2032 period.
